Environmental Week Event in Pokémon GO
From Tuesday, April 14 at 10 AM to Monday, April 20 at 8 PM (local time), Pokémon GO celebrates Environmental Week with exciting new features for all Trainers. During this event, you will have the chance to capture Terracool in its shiny form, as well as Dunaja, a Pokémon making its debut in the game.
Bonuses and Capture Opportunities
During this special week, several bonuses will be available:
- Increased chances of hatching Galarian Corsola wearing pink sunglasses.
- Opportunity to encounter shiny versions of Lapras, Togetic, Fletchling, and Swablu.
Additionally, various Pokémon will appear more frequently along the Routes, following a specific schedule:
- Tuesday, April 14 at 10 AM to Thursday, April 16 at 10 AM: Togetic and Galarian Corsola with pink sunglasses.
- Thursday, April 16 at 10 AM to Saturday, April 18 at 10 AM: Swablu and Galarian Corsola.
- Saturday, April 18 at 10 AM to Monday, April 20 at 8 PM: Lapras and Galarian Corsola.
New Pokémon to Discover
This Environmental Week also introduces new Pokémon to the game:
- Dunaja - A Ground-type Pokémon that evolves into Dunaconda with 50 Candy.
- Terracool - This water-type Pokémon will appear in wooded and grassy areas.

- Grainipiot
- Fletchling

Field Research and 7 km Eggs
Special field research tasks will be available during this event. The GO Pass: Environmental Week 2026 will allow you to participate in these quests. The 7 km eggs could contain:
- Lapras
- Togepi
- Galarian Corsola with pink sunglasses
- Swablu
- Fletchling (normal form)
Shiny Pokémon from the Event
This event also gives you the chance to capture shiny Pokémon, including:
- Terracool
- Galarian Corsola wearing pink sunglasses
