Pokémon GO at IIT-Bombay for Techfest 2025
From December 22 to 24, 2025, Pokémon GO will be present on the campus of IIT-Bombay in Mumbai as part of Techfest 2025. Trainers will have the opportunity to enjoy numerous in-game bonuses and visit an official Pokémon GO booth.
Event Information
The event schedule is as follows:
- Start: Monday, December 22 at 10:00 AM
- End: Wednesday, December 24 at 8:00 PM (local time)
Pokémon to Encounter
Trainers will be able to encounter several Pokémon during the event:
- Bulbasaur
- Charmander
- Squirtle
- Pikachu
- Eevee
- Lapras
- Snorlax
Shiny versions of these Pokémon may also be available!
In-Game Bonuses
- Incense will last for three hours.
- Trades will yield an extra candy.
- Evolve Ivysaur (Bulbasaur's evolution) to get a Venusaur with the move Frenzy Plant.
- Evolve Charmeleon (Charmander's evolution) to receive a Charizard with the move Blast Burn.
- Evolve Wartortle (Squirtle's evolution) to obtain a Blastoise with the move Hydro Cannon.
Free Timed Research
Trainers will also have access to a free timed research opportunity with various rewards:
- XP
- Stardust
- Incense
- Encounters with event-themed Pokémon
- And many more surprises!
