The Pokémon Mega Festa, a key event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the franchise, has been canceled due to an influx of over 40,000 visitors in Seoul. Scheduled for May 1st, this event was set to include themed activities, sports events, and promotions related to Pokémon GO.
The first activity, a Pokémon GO stamp rally offering a TCG card as a reward, was disrupted by massive crowds in the Pokémon Secret Forest. Organizers decided to cancel the event to ensure the safety of all participants.
